Good Vibrations

Embrace the Dark. By Caris Roane.

I was lucky enough to win this set of books. I haven’t read any from this author before.
This is set in a magical realm full of vampires, fae and wraiths.  Gerrod is the Mastyr vampire ruler of this part of the realm. Abigail is a human who is opening a cake shop with an Elf.
Gerrod is drawn to Abigail but he can’t have anything to do with a human. His realm is having trouble with the Invictus and wraiths killing or enslaving his people. Gerrod uses frequency vibrations from his body for fighting and other things. Abigail can feel his vibrations . Every time she is near him  she feels as If her blood is thick and lumpy. There are battles, and very different love scenes.  As the first in the Blood Rose series it’s a very good introduction to what looks like a fascinating land and it’s people.  I would definitely be reading more.
