Love Knits

               Casting Spells.
           By Barbara Bretton.

This is very funny book. Our heroine  Chloe ,is a half human sorceress in a town filled with every type of Magical being you can think of. She has no Magical powers but the protection of the town rests on her shoulders.  The protection spell cast by her ancestors needs to be renewed.  Until her powers kick in or she finds the book of spells she is helpless.
Luke is a detective come to town to find out why a friend had died. The town is too perfect.  No crime,  no Hospital, and everyone in it is movie star gorgeous.  His cop instincts go on red alert.
While everyone is trying to keep Luke from discovering the magic, Chloe has to try and find the book.  And not fall in love with the human.
The magic tricks the whole town play trying to keep human , Luke from suspecting what they are is  so funny.  I want a basket of wool like Chloe’s.
The story catches you from the start. It is fast paced with lots going on all the time. Very entertaining.  Loved it.
