This is a very good historical romance. With a lot of adventure and a good insight into the lives of the common people of the time.
Dawn has lived in the village, alone since her mother died. Most of the villagers ignore her because of her disability.  When the cruel overlord captures a dangerous warrior, he orders Dawn to do anything the prisoner wants.  He wants her to find out where the warrior’s men are.
Cree is a warrior known as the devil, because he is so ruthless in battle. He has his own reason for being caught.
When everything changes it is more than anyone expects.
The one that is in danger then is Dawn.
A real good read BUT our author is very mean with the ending. I’m now forced to buy the next book in the trilogy.  I would have anyway.

Have a Wonderful Read
