          ONE DANCE WITH A DUKE.

This book is regency romance at It’s best.
Amelia has a younger brother who she has looked after since their mother died.  He is in debt to a man known as  the “Duke of Midnight ” Spencer is known as that because he shows up at events at the stroke of Midnight dances with one woman and then leaves. So for Amelia to attempt to speak to the Duke she must claim that one dance.
At that dance they are told of the sudden death of a friend, and leave to tell the man’s sister.
Things get very complicated after that.
Amelia is a woman who is loving and caring towards her family and friends, and is never happier than When she is looking after people. Spencer shut himself off from people years before,  and saves all his attention for his beloved horses. He can’t stand being in a crowd. He expects everyone to do as he says When he says it.
Spencer’s reaction to the man’s death puts him under suspicion of causing it.
I can’t say to much more without spoiling it for you. I will just say that Spencer and Amelia both have to learn important lessons. I’m hoping some of the secondary characters will get their own book.
