A Knight in Tartan.

;            ★★★☆☆

            BY Skhye Moncrief.
This book is the 2nd in the Time Guardians series.  And the 4th in the 10 Timeless Heroes boxed set.

Murdo is a Time Guardian.  A time traveling Ring Master from the future. On his way back to his time after a training exercise, he is dropped into the year 2004 .
Katie is taking a Holiday with friends from the U.S.A. who came to visit her in Scotland . She accidently hits a man with her car, he is not injured but his sword is bent. As Katie is a sword smith it is decided Murdo will stay with them until she can fix his sword.

This is a good story, but you do have to concentrate on it. The story is nearly  all dialogue, from both points of view. Some spoken and some in thoughts.  It can be difficult to tell sometimes which is which, or who is talking or thinking. You really have to look at the punctuation.
